Happy Aloha Friday! There’s so much fun to be had this weekend, with Cinco de Mayo events, May Day events, and Comic Book Day. Locally, it’s a very special weekend for East Hawai’i, as Governor Green has proclaimed May 6, 2023 as Edith Kanaka’ole Day. There will be special events on Saturday to honor this very special wahine and her impacts on Hawai’i both in-person and via live stream.
